In Mexico on the Day of the Dead it is believed that any person who dies is granted until midnight to remain with the living; to hunt down one last indulgence; to tie up loose ends before saying goodbye. Set against the gothic sensationalism of Mexico City's Day of the Dead festivities, catalyzed by a mysterious and violent train accident, the film's ensemble cast is thrust into a journey to find meaning in both life and death as the clock ticks toward one final midnight.

Purchased from their pitch, the script is currently being written by Max Joseph and Walter Driver.
