MARCHING POWDER chronicles the incredible true story of Thomas McFadden, a British drug trafficker who was arrested in Bolivia and sentenced to La Paz’s notorious San Pedro Prison - a prison unlike any other, where the guards are stationed outside of the walls and inmates live with their families, run restaurants and shops and where some of them manufacture and export the world's finest cocaine. Charismatic and resourceful, McFadden quickly learns how to thrive in this surreal environment where incarcerated criminals are left to their own devices and money is the only authority. Benjamin Van Der Veen will adapt Rusty Young’s international best seller. The project will be produced in conjunction with Plan B and Don Cheadle, who is also attached to star.
